In the centre of the display is the A8 with, a pair of A3As on either side.
Below the A8 is a B4 (in the later 'Art Deco Style' cabinet).
Either side of the B4 are a pair of '4/B5 radios.
The Murphy range for 1930.
  • The B4 was Murphy's first radio. The first advertisement for the B4 appeared in the October 3rd issue of the Radio Times.
  • Initially priced at £17 17s. 0d. A new version, with a revised cabinet design, was released in 1932 priced at £15 15s. 0d.
  • In November of 1932 the price was reduced to £12 10s. 0d.
  • The November 1932 price reductions were achieved by reducing the dealer discount (profit margin) from 33⅓ % to 27½ %
  • The Murphy B4, Battery portable radio. 70k.

  • The Murphy A3, AC mains table model. 1036k.
  • Due to popular demand, The Murphy News published Cord stringing diagrams for the A3. 280k.
  • The A3 was Murphy's first AC Mains powered radio. Released Summer - just in time for 'Radiolympia'.
  • Initially priced at £19 19s. 0d. then reduced to £17 17s. 0d. the following year.

As of January 1st the price of the 1935 range of radios was reduced to match the price of
the equivalent 1936 model. I should imagine this was to help shift the old stock...
The entire 1936 range was announced in March.

The B33 was announced in January priced at £10 15s. 0d. (Without Batteries).

'36' models released in February both price £15 10s. 0d.
'38' models released in April both price £17 10s. 0d.
A42V Television receiver announced in June (first demonstrated from June 11th at the Science Museum in London). Released in August price £65.

The service information for most of the 1937 models was published in a single book. As such that would make a very large file!
The best solution is to present it as a 36 page compilation (containing all the service notes) and nine individual Diagram sheets.
